Why Does Asia Builds Roads for
Milk Like Europe Needed for Silk?
“Milk Road” describes the modern network of routes used to link commerce and culture that run north and south.
These routes transfer what people need in strategic industries, especially from Australia, that cover all Products, Services & Knowledge about Food, Education, Resources, Technology, Healthcare and Tourism.
The Milk Road plays a role like the Silk Road in the course of human history.
Why Milk Is Like Silk
Silk and Milk are powerful metaphors.
Life begins with “Mother’s Milk.”
“Milk of Human Kindness” is a Shakespearean verse.
Milk powder, like Silk in ancient history, is a valuable consumer product in high demand.
Silk and Milk, two metaphors best suited for their time and place, represent vast multitudes of products and services exchanged on these two different global routes of commerce and culture.
Demand in China to improve the Milk Road is why, in 2015, the investment group, Moon Lake purchased VDL – Van Diemen’s Land Company, the largest dairy farm in Tasmania, Australia.
Consumer demand for better China Food Safety is also why.
China Food Safety
The People’s Republic of China established a Government program that translates as “China Food Safety.”
The 2008 China Milk Scandal drove mothers to purchase milk powder directly from “Daigo” shoppers in Australia.
Mothers in China paid to a premium to ensure their children’s food safety by building for themselves a better lane on the new Milk Road.
Their success has created at least one new problem – a shortage of milk powder supply for mothers in Australia.
This is one of the vast multitude of reasons why:
China Needs to Build Its Own World-Class Food System
“China is missing a world-class food system” is only part of the answer to the question “Why Does Asia Build Roads for Milk Like Europe Needed for Silk?”
Every developing country in Asia will continue following in the footsteps of China to Australia on the new Milk Road.
“How Much Will It Cost to Build World Class Food Systems in Asia?” is a natural next question along with “When Will Every Country in Asia Have a World-Class Food System?”
USD 20 trillion and 20 years is one estimate for the budget.
The longer China and other countries in Asia wait, the more risk grows in the world-class food system of Australia, especially for smaller states like Tasmania.
Tasmanians May Assist More
Tasmanians are in a unique position to assist more.
What will that take?
More people need to align with this vision and goal.
Community discussion and consultation is a key part of that path, especially in Tasmania.
Why Is This Useful to You?
Discussing your ideal future is a healthy step to create it.
You and more Tasmanians deserve an easier pathway to access Tasmania’s most valuable route of trade, culture and investment, if and when you want.
Discussing this path is easier when it has a respectable name like the Silk Road between Europe and China, one of the most well-known branded routes of commerce and culture in history.
For example, try asking yourself this simple question:
- Why is the Milk Road more important to me than the Silk Road?
